With every stroke on the page I find my faith in my art fading, haha. The sketches looked awesome, but I lost something in the inking... and kept losing more during coloring.

It was only AFTER I nearly finished this page that I learned about the pen tool, so here's hoping page 2 will look much cleaner -- assuming I can learn to work it right.

All you comic artists out there who use Photoshop CS3 -- what do you use to make your word bubbles? I was just using the ellipse tool + line tool to make white bubbles. And on that note, how in the world do you create an outlined ellipse (black on the outside, white on the inside).

I really hope you guys can look past the terrible art and keep readingas the comic is posted. Maybe someday I'll be better at this and we can look back at these pages and laugh, and laugh, and laugh.
